Genetically Modified Foods.

Initially the food goes through a process of transformation in this new century. Undergoes a change in the DNA, their genes undergo a “process of alteration that increases the ability to grow certain crops with higher yields as a way to help fight hunger” (Freedman, 2009). But we know that this process, although it is beneficial, it can have consequences to our body.Problems like such as allergies to certain substances that can be harmful depending on the organism (Grueso, 2009)”.

The GMF process begins with a set of genetic observation of certain products in the initial phase as plants and animals, “producing food with increased resistance to harmful factors such as extreme environmental conditions, insects and pesticides, among others (Grueso, 2009)”. These include food security, in trying to keep food in certain health conditions. Creating, plus a lot of food, a good distribution.
